Itinerary

Day 1
Road Town, Tortola

Meet your new crewmates and Captain. You arrive in the afternoon and get acquainted with your boat, your new home for the days ahead. Your captain will hold a meeting to discuss the itinerary, review safety procedures, and get everyone ready for the journey ahead. You'll enjoy dining on deck while watching the sunset over the Caribbean.

Day 2
The Indians/Norman Island

The Indian's (at right) are a geological wonder. Here you'll discover schools of beautiful silversides and colorful coral. After snorkeling, we set sail for Norman Island. It is said that Norman Island was the setting for Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island. Everyone aboard will be given instruction on how to operate our tender. We use this smaller boat to get from our yacht to the shore.

Day 3
Sandy Cay/Little Harbor, Jost Van Dyke
Sandy Cay is located south of Jost Van Dyke and looks like a Hollywood version of a deserted island. Only 14 acres large, it is accessible by motoring in with our dinghy from our anchored yacht. In the afternoon, you'll raise anchor and practice jibing the boat as we head east to Jost Van Dyke.  Here we pickup a mooring in this tiny harbor. That evening you'll have ice cream at Sidney's Peace and Love where tourists have decorated the ceiling with T-shirts.

Day 5
Monkey Point, Guana Island

After an amazing sail along the north side of Tortola where you practice tacking and jibing techniques, you'll arrive at beautiful Monkey Point. There you can hike, snorkel, participate in water sports, and watch the beautiful sunset over the Caribbean Sea. A quiet night on board will be perfect after a long day on and in the water.
Day 6
Bitter End Yacht Club, Virgin Gorda

The entrance to this harbor is challenging, giving the crew an excellent opportunity to master their navigation skills. Once in the harbor your captain will give a lesson on picking up a mooring under sail. The yacht club ashore offers you a chance to relax on the beach, stretch your legs and take in a movie.
Day 7
Marina Cay

After a day of exploratory sailing practice, arrive at the beautiful Marina Cay, a tiny island dotted with bungalows and the famous Pusser's restaurant. You'll spend the afternoon underwater exploring the vibrant sea life of the BVI. A must see is the 360 degree view from atop Marina Cay. Marina Cay is well known for their homemade milkshakes.

Day 8
The Dogs/Leverick Bay, Virgin Gorda

The Dogs, a collection of tiny islands to the east of Virgin Gorda, boasts several diving/ snorkeling sites including The Chimney, Coral Gardens, and Bronco Billy's.  Here you will see amazing rock formations, vibrant corals, and may even free dive down to an airplane wreck!

Day 9
Trellis Bay, Tortola

At Trellis you'll enjoy time on the beach browsing Aragorn's art and pottery studio, writing emails home at The Cyber Cafe or sending an ecard from the BVI.
Marvelous huge copper sculptures  line the shore. You'll have a quiet night on board with your crew, as an exciting day of sailing is in store for tomorrow.
Day 10
The Baths/Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor, Virgin Gorda

Wake up to the beautiful landscape of The Baths. You and your friends will explore the many tunnels and passageways created by the massive boulders that surround you. After scrambling the Baths you will head into the pleasant marina of Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor.
Day 11  Anegada
The surrounding reef of this island will test your piloting and navigation skills. A taxi will deliver you to one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. There you will find sea turtle nests, and explore a phenomenal reef. A fresh island-style dinner and a nap under the Sea Grape tree round out the day.

Day 4
Cane Garden Bay, Tortola

Your lesson today will be man overboard drills and jibing as you head to Cane Garden Bay. You'll find beautiful, picturesque homes dotting this half-moon-shaped beach. Enjoy playing volley ball on the beach. Tonight you'll make tacos and your captain will tell you about the pirate history of the Caribbean islands.

Day 12
Village Cay, Tortola

Today you are sailing to Road Town, the capital of the BVI, where you'll dock. At Village Cay Marina you will have the chance to explore Road Town, enjoy swimming in the dockside pool, and treat yourself to delicious homemade gelato. The afternoon will be spent hiking to the highest point in the BVI and through a rainforest.
Day 13
Soper's Hole, Tortola

This is your last stop before heading back to our marina in Road Town. Today you and your crew will spend the day enjoying shore side facilities and shops full of real Caribbean flavor.
